Eshtaq-tellak (اشتقتلك - فيروز)

رَغم الحَاصِل مِن زَمَان

Raghem el-7aassel men zamaan

Though what happened in the past

 

الوَقِت الكَافِي للنِسيَان

El-waqet el-kaafee lel-nessyaan

The time that was enough to forget

 

عِزِّة نَفسِي كَإِنسَان

3ezzet nafssi ka enssaan

my dignity as human

 

 

اشتَقِت لَك

Eshtaq-tellak

I missed you

 

ورَغِم الغَلطَة وَمَحَلاّ وقِصِّتنَا يَالّلي حَلاّ

O raghem el-ghalta o ma7alla o qessetna yalli 7alla

And although the mistake and where it happened (it’s place)  and our story that should

You don’t need to feel sorry for me

You didn’t (don’t) meant to hurt me

It is ok  I am telling you  .. I missed you

The problem is, you didn’t miss me and I missed you

I know that it’s no big deal (not equal)

Something is inside stopping me

Now you are just living, and tomorrow  you're going to miss me

وتِسأَل مِين كَان يِقِلّلي

And you ask: who was telling me
